I’ve completed a Digital Badge in Postgraduate Research Supervision! The course was offered by the Graduate Studies Office at University College Cork, and I found it quite helpful. The sessions covered both policy related matters that define the supervisors role, as well as the practical side of effectively guiding postgraduate researchers to achieve success. My previous teacher training in higher education didn’t cover these topics, so the new knowledge will be a welcome addition to my toolkit.
